Whitney Farmstead Milking Parlor

A true working dairy barn, built for our close friends at the Whitney Farmstead. This 30’x50’ frame became the heart of the farmstead operation by serving as the milking parlor, creamery, and store front for the farm’s meat, maple syrup, wool products, and raw milk.

The frame was designed by the owners, and all the timber was logged from the 200 acre farm and milled on site, totaling 12 different species of wood used in the frame. One of our favorite projects, this frame helped in the revival of a 6th generation family farm, and has a special place in our hearts.
